Graduate program of Comparative
Study of Chinese and Foreign Languages
¡¡¡¡Those applying for this program should take an entrance examination
and may be enrolled for the program when they meet the requirements.
Undergraduate program of Chinese
Language (Four-year program)
The difference grades are:
Freshman class
Sophomore class
Junior class (Two orientations of Chinese Culture and International
Trade)
Senior class (Two orientations of Chinese Culture and International
Trade)
A. Beginners can directly be placed in the undergraduate classes
to study. They can register as sophomore only if they get the
HSK Band Three certificates.
B. Students who have HSK Band Three, Band Four or Band Five certificates
and have passed the entrance exam can join the sophomore in the
middle of the course. Those who have HSK Band Six certificate
or higher and have passed the entrance examination can join the
junior class in the middle of the course.
Training Program of Chinese Language
and Culture
Such language training classes include about a dozen levels.
1. ¢ÙABC class ¢ÚElementary (Low Level); ¢ÛElementary (Middle
Level); ¢ÜElementary (High Level)
2. ¢ÙIntermediate (Low Level); ¢ÚIntermediate (Middle Level);
¢ÛIntermediate (High Level)
3. ¢ÙAdvanced (Low Level); ¢Ú Advanced (High Level)
There are also accelerated classes for the three levels.
A. Beginners will be directly placed in ABC class.
B. Students having certain foundation of Chinese will be placed
in classes according to the result of the entrance exam for class
placement. After class placement, students are allowed 2 days
to sit in the class. Within this period, if a student wants to
change class, he/she should apply to the office for the centralized
transfer. Transfer of class is declined beyond the limit of 2
days.
C. Students, having studied for over a year, can be placed in
the accelerated class upon application, if he/she wants to speed
his/her study. (One year study in this class can achieve the same
level as one-and-half-year study in other classes.)
Chinese Language and Cultural Training
(Group Registration)
A special curriculum could be made upon request.
Schedule for classes
¡¡¡¡From Monday to Friday:
First 2 hours: 8:30~10:00
Second 2 hours: 10:20~11:50
Third 2 hours: 13:30~15:00
Generally, there are
20 hours of classes a week for trainee students; 24 for students
in accelerated classes; and 20~28 for undergraduate students.
